Here is a picture of my daughter Ashley that I uploaded in July 2006
Here she is again, 5 years later...
Same tree, almost the same pose (Not intentional) I honestly did not remember the first pic. I was practicing with her and her friend....What a difference 5 years makes.

Seems like I was just walking her to her first day of school....Now she drives herself. |

They do indeed. I wish they would slow down. Or our perception of time would slow down and realign with theirs. If you know what i mean.
Lovely photos by the way :) |

Actually, in my own experience, there was a time when there came a rapid transition between "I wish I could slow this down!" to "I wish she'd hurry and GROW UP!" :-)
(She did, by the way, thank heavens...)

Heh. Yes, i remember that bit. I guess having 18 years gap between my two kids has made me forget the chaos ahead!

Thanks for all the compliments....I am grateful for her as she is the easiest teenage girl and very responsiable. I am also very happy that I have two older sons to make sure any boy that is interested remains respectful. (haha) |

Boy, I know what you mean... when I joined DPC, our oldest was 13. She's now 22. Time flies. |

Great pictures of your daughter! It's fun to watch them grow up but hard at the same time! As I am writing this I am outside a pizza place waiting for my daughter to come out of her first interview for a part time job! |

Hope she gets the job!! I've always been fascinated by those who take pictures of their kids, one a day for 10 years and splice it all into a video.. Now that's growing up fast10 Years in 1 Minute 25 Seconds |
