It comes on fine when I first boot the comp. up, but if I sleep it, when I wake it up the backlight refuses to turn on. It's running OS X
I've reset the P-ram, the power scource, and reboted a couple hundred times.
For now I'm just letting it sit till the screen turns off and the disc spins down instead of sleeping it.
anyone have a similar problem? any suggestions?

Try this link or do a 'backlight' search at the Apple > Support page?
