| Well now I don't feel so bad. I thought this was one of the best shots I have submitted yet, I was deeply disappointed last night and even more so today. I fell from a 4.7 to 4.0. I think people are either in a bad mood or just mad about something and are taking it out on us. Come on people, if you aren't in the mood to vote or are angry wait till later to vote... be fair. |

Let's look at the bright side of this. If Drew is telling the truth, and this is no joke, and all the scores really are this low.....then a score of 4.9 might actually get you a ribbon!!!

My theory is that the voter looks at their score, and relates their score to all other photos, and then votes whether they think your photo is better or worse than theirs. So if they have a 5 and they think their's is better, you get a 4 or less...and so on. Just a thought, but been thinking about this for a while. Van

At 6.8, the first 129 voters thought it was pretty OK. I guess the last 30 are the correct ones by your figuring, the ones who gave it an average score of 4. Guess we all can't be that enlightened. ;)

Samples are on the way... just gotta make sure Customs doesn't get a hold of them! They may mistake them for brownies or sommat!

If you follow a full day around the world it adds up to 48 hours. So half a day around the world is still 24 hrs.

| Well, at least it's a relief to find this thread and realize mine isn't the only one taking a hit. My motion blur was in the 6's yesterday and is currently in the low 5's. :( |
