| I just gotback from a vacation, and checked my score, could'nt believe how low it was, but then I saw this thread, so I'm not the only one. I have 2 lovely comments though, so there are some who like it. |

I am also surprised at the low scores in this challenge. I think that it may be a problem with how shooters and voters comprehend the challenge criteria/description.

Strange...I don't understand how all of you are getting this low scores.
I just finished voting myself and honestly, only 1 or 2 entries were euh..how should I put it...less good than the other entries.

Interesting. So it is about what he didn't do rather than what he pondered on. I am on a third glass of wine and it is after 1am so I'd better finish for now :) Spiffy has been slow with the pizza ;) I hope the scores will go steady in the morning. |

100 vote check in. Comments reflect some unusual ideas on rot composition, not in line with my own. But, that's okay. I expected that. Also, I expected the "blue" criticisms. Not everyone is going to like my photography. |

I'm still low as well. But the 4 comments are really positive, go figure.
Someone has even said, my shot was their pick for the challenge, and another gave me a 10. Don't get the low score then, were talking under 5.
I'd like some critic at the end of the challenge if anyone would kindly do that.

i waited till the end-ish to ask... did anyone else sense that there might have been a bunch of art class entries? quite a few shots seemed to be "forced" ROT of (IMHO) very drab/boring subjects...

As in all visual subjects, the viewer sees what is in their head, all their insights good and bad. Their comments are a measure of their worth as reflected back by what they view.
Maybe you need to reflect on what you do... |

To be honest, I had a different take on the topic. I was shocked when I first started to vote. I spent the week thinking about a single blue subject composed via the rule of thirds. However, I tend to read the topics once, and shoot later...by then it's a vague guideline. |
