Not the best presentations, IMHO. Three stand outs, though. I say, put back the bugs and flowers. :P

I have seen a fair number of my entries start above 6 and slide below. This may be my first to start below and work its way up to the 6 benchmark. I need to post this quick -- I suspect it will not be above 6 for long. |

As I expected, currently at about 4.88, with one happy commenter who gave it a 9.
This challenge did give me a nudge to use some equipment that I have had around collecting dust for a good while, so that's a good thing. It was good practice for getting the "small stuff" shots.

Except for the comments, this is true of my Bugs macro. Personal Worst, but I really like the look of the shot. |

I'm curious how this will work itself out, since the challenge clearly stated, "For the purpose of this challenge, "bug" refers to any insect, arachnid, worm, larvae, etc. that would be classified in the arthropoda phylum"
a quick check of wikipedia lists all the critters than fall under Arthropoda

Well, it's early and you never know. My score just dropped .2165 pts in three votes. That's after having 6.3+ score.
Now it's too close to a 6 for comfort, and I don't expect the slide to stop anytime soon.
