There are a ton of decent challenge suggestions and several new ones posted every week. Let's go one month without have a "III" or "MCMXII" challenge. Just one month. Seems doable.

don't see why we have to repeat things, sometimes twice in a year, when so many other good topics get ignored.

I can see very clear merits in repeating challenges, but maybe we could space out the repeats a bit more.

Well, it would include "In the style of BSpurgeon II" but not "In the lack of style of Art Roflmao" for example. ;-)

what about adding a feature to the 'challenge suggestions' forum section that would change the color of a thread with a challenge suggestion that was actually selected (the same way the admin announcements show up green)...

Ken, don't be so hard on yourself. You have plenty of style...you just have no class. Ooops! Ducks Ken's left hook :P

Changing the color? That would require ordering paint, hiring union painters, a huge debate on what color they should be, etc. But then there's always the positive effects the paint fumes would have on our members. Hmmm... +1

This thread was the result of a few moments of clear thinking on the part of Mr. Roflmao and should be implemented at once.

It does not surprise me to learn that you paint your member. Next time you might want to try the non-toxic variety, like they use in elementary schools.

Are you suggesting our beloved Mr. Art Rolfmao doesn't usually think clearly? How else can he think, what with a firebreathing Godzilla living in his head?

Is that why they use non-toxic paint in elementary schools?

Will the honorable members please lift their heads higher than their belt-buckles, [nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more, say no more] and concentrate on the task at hand, namely to transform Godzilla into a virus that gobbles up any challenge description with a Roman numeral at the end.

Then you'll have the people who just don't like the color that was selected.

Now that you mention it, who the hell chose that hideous green for the admin announcements?!

It might just be we need a moratorium on moratorium threads :)

You don't need to enter or vote [insert name here] [insert roman numeral here] challenges.

That being said ... I agree with you and would like to see some of the killer suggestions we've seen show up as challenges. :) :)
