Hello, just wanted to say Hi and see if i could get my portfolio critiqued. Anyway i uploaded 75% of my photos. Im super bored and hot in Iraq. And plus there isnt to much to shot, at least picture wise. We have the army out here for all the real shooting :)
Looking forward to the comments and questions.
Thanks in advance |

I am headed out to work right now, so I do not have time for a proper critque. In the meantime, for inspiration, check out Deb's ( Melethia) desert collection. The Desert Collection is a fantastic selection of photos from that part of the world.
I will look at your photos later in the week when I can give it the proper time. In the meantime, welcome to DPC.

What a strange thread, new user who wants his non-existent portfolio critiqued, and another user telling us about grandma's funeral... With a USC e-mail and bad spelling... Strange strange strange. |

The thread is a couple of years old. Not new. Maybe he was a full member at the time? And maybe the person resurrecting the thread is trying to get in touch with him? |

I thought of that but I was curious as to why they would not use the PM system. |

Maybe the person trying to get a hold of him didn't know how? Anyway, he has comments received, so he must of had a portfolio at one time. |

I don't know but there must be an interesting back story if they have to try and get someone's attention by posting here in an old thread. It's got my curiosity going now. |

My guess is the person is a relative of some type. If you follow his link from here to his account on deviant it's been deactivated. He's no longer active here, they're probably just trying every avenue to say they tried to contact him. |
