I have also noted that posting comments about actual scores in threads, often garners you a quick low vote. I've been told that somehow there is a backdoor way to figure out which entry belongs to whom. Others have made reference to this in the past, but seems to go unchanged. I don't have that kind of time or the desire!! Good grief people....IT'S A FREAKING VIRTUAL RIBBON!!! Not worth all of the drama....sheesh!
I have wine right now so who cares!! :P Anyone that comes over...I have enough to share! Happy weekend, all! |

You know this has been the ride of my DP career ... at 30ish votes I was well above 6 - almost heading for a place on my home page .. then the inevitable drop (expected) and on to more expected numbers .. mostly 5.9 and 5.8798 - then all hell broke lose and I am now in the 5.7ish range with 2 great comments .. one I nearly had to break out the dictionary to understand (j/k) but it has been a trip.
Honestly I almost didn't renew my membership as I have little if any closeness with members - the challenges don't grab my attention but this one did .. it made me step out of my comfort zone and try to see through the eyes of a member who doesn't seem to chase ribbons but is more interested in telling a story or celebrating his family.
So bring on the 1's .. or whatever .. I am sitting pretty and was before I entered because my shot meant something important way before I entered.
My plan is adding at least 2 points to my normal voting patterns because of the efforts put forth and because trolls have such miserable lives that it makes me smile to smite them a wee bit.
I am also trying to leave comments for the people who will statistically not get many .. you know, the ones who are not great, but not bad enough to get many .. the forgotten ones .. been there plenty.
Good luck and I can't wait to see who wins - but then again, you are all winners for entering such a challenging challenge!

Oh man, my score is so low, I want to pull it out of the comp. I need at least one comment to let me know why it's so bad, just wondering if someone could PM me.
THis has put a real damper on this challenge, nothing towards Ben at all, just the voting style,need to know if it's just a bad photo or DNMC. |
