I'm considering using a photo book company for portfolios to send out.

If anybody here has used this company, I'd like to hear what you think of them.

I was wondering the same thing so I did a search on them. Looks like people liked the product. The cost is about the same as the cheaper outfits but you get higher quality paper and such, or so the search results indicated.

I saw that, but I wanted to know if anyone has used them, and what they think of the books.

I've used Blurb on 4 different books now, and I've been very happy with the quality, and the price. Though I'd love to go for a bigger book (I usually get the 7" softcover from Blurb, which is a deal at less than $25).

I've gotten free books from a bunch of places. I just got an 8x8 hardback book from Shutterfly two weeks ago (just paid shipping of $8). I probably should have posted a link when I got it, but I just assume most people are getting the same offers. Next time I get a free book offer I'll post it. I've only gotten 1 book from Blurb (softcover) and wasn't real happy with it.

I actually had a book done with Photobook Europe (same company, different print location) which arrived in my hands on Friday last week (coincidentally!). I am very happy with it indeed. It took less than a week from uploading to their system to delivery. Quite impressive on the whole. I did a 15 x 11 hardcover image wrap (I also had a special offer, so definitely did not pay full price). I have only had 1 Blurb book done so not too much experience to compare, but I am very satisfied with my book (the one from Photobook)
