I bookmarked that site - some really good stuff there.

I wonder how this would work for a challenge.

I think it could be a really cool challenge. But I would want at least an extra week on it. I think many of us now live a good distance from where we grew up, so finding a photo and then getting to the location may be tough.

Wouldn't have to be where you grew up, wouldn't even have to be you and wouldn't have to have an age requirement (from photo to photo). I think it could be a great and very straightforward challenge topic.

If I wasn't at work right now, I would be BAWLING at this one with the caption "Dear Photograph, thank you for everything we had." oh man. I can barely contain myself right now. :S

GREAT site and awesome challenge idea.

The creator lives here in my town and the local paper highlighted his overnight success a couple of weeks ago. It talked about TV show and book deals coming his way literally 3 weeks after he launched the site. I didn't quite believe it but another semi local success story blogger has had huge success with his site 1000 Awesome Things I guess the simplest things can reap great rewards.

Both, terrific sites. Love that idea for a challenge.

Maybe it's something in the water -- who knows, you could be next!

I had a collection of really old Japanese postcards which I took on a trip around Japan with me, visiting the places as they are now and taking a photo as near as possible to the same spot. Same kind of deal, I guess. ;-)

We've moved about 16 times since I have been married! And my family before that moved very often also. I wouldn't even know where to find the old houses we lived at to compare pics. But it's a cool idea!

I hear that's Bear Music's favorite site. (runs away)
