although your's was one, i've had several comments that seemed to be looking for something blurry to indicate it was a tripod shot... so i wasn't singling you out.

Same goes for me. If anyone here gets a comment from me (you all will by the end of voting) note that I'm trying to explain why it's not obvious that you are using a tripod. I'm not in any way saying you didn't use a tripod. I'm saying that I can easily conceive of a way to take the photo without a tripod, so it's not obvious that it's needed.
Also, if anyone thinks I'm being unkind, that's not my intention at all. I'm trying to make sure that if you are getting low votes, you know potentially why you are getting them. Isn't that what comments are for?
BTW, I also haven't given out a score lower than a 3 in this challenge, and my average vote is currently 6.27. So even if I'm being critical, I'm not necessarily being harsh with votes. |

Down to 5.1 something now, which is below my norm.
On the happy side, the views total for my DPC photos just passed the 250K mark, sort of a little personal milestone to smile about. : )

Slowly creeping up, one of my my poor baby duck shots might get pushed outta my top 5. Honestly, I'm ok with that. Think score would have been much better if, well, I had fixed, what almost all 9 comments, comment about. :-) |
