Inspired by Smith Magazine's Six Word Memoirs, take a photograph that tells a story. The title should be six words- Advanced Editing.

6 Example titles:

For sale, clown suit. Reconsidering career.
Unplanned conversation left me beautifully speechless.
Tossed list into bucket. Fuck it.
Teeth permanently stained with summer blueberries.
Reprioritized my life. Now watching sunsets.
Life is a cornucopia of weird.

Did you mean "memoirs"? And I guess this would be a take on Hemingway's six-word short story: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."

Hopefully more than a FS with a forced title, but will stretch the creative writing skills of many. I like it.

How can we avoid this?

Do we make it that we use someone else's "memoir" instead of our own? I can see it as a freestudy if people choose the title after they shoot. If you shoot with a title in mind, it becomes more about capturing a narrative.

Maybe the name of the challenge can be six words, and you have to capture it?

I wouldn't worry about it. It's a fun suggestion...I would likely write 3 "titles" as you've suggested, then make an image for the titles. To be honest, I see no harm in making an image that fits your day/mood/etc., then capture it in 6 words.

This seems like an excellent idea, and it would be a good exercise for me personally. Too many of my pictures lack a good story. A challenge suggestion that excites and intimidates me -- that is good.

I already suck at titles. Coming up with a whole sentence with a set word count might just be too much. ;D

"It's time that I moved on."

Seems like a theme around here lately.
