On any given day, I spend a good two hours a day here looking through photos, getting to know people, and improve my photography and also to look at stats. My question is, are there any other people that have found DPC WAY addicting besides myself and would consider themselves DPJunkies?
Edit for Typos

Coming up to my anniversary! April 6th will be 2 years! I came along when DPC was only 3 months old. :)
I have been addicted ever since, and my family curses me for it :P

Hmmm, you know you have been on too long when: You log on and hope to find another new challenge waiting for you in the middle of the week, and knowing that it wont come until Sunday night. ( for most challenges)
I give or take about 2 hours at a time, depends. |

I'm on for a few hours each day. When I'm working, I'll leave the computer on and drop in once in a while. |

I actually get paid for time I spend on the dpchallenge web site. I develop bandwidth management and usage reporting software for a living. So, naturally, I need to test new pieces of code by utilizing bandwidth, loading different pages, etc. My preferred tool for generating bandwidth usage is Microsoft Internet Explorer, and my preferred web site is dpchallenge.com. It’s really great to be able to mix two of my favorite passions, and get paid to do it. Bragging? Naw, not me. ;^) Now, if I could just get paid for taking the photos tooâ€Â¦ |

June 21 will be 2 years for me... I usually go into withdrawal after about the third day when I'm out of touch, so yes, it's an addiction.

Sometime in 2002 I think.
Does it say in my profile somewhere?

I've been here about 14 months and spend on average a few hours a day, probably more. That also depends on interesting forum topics and what my current score is. Yes, I'm addicted!

You mean it will get worse when/if I win a ribbon? I spend 3+ hours a day on here now. :)

I registered in August, 2003 and I started submitting in October, 2003. And I became a member on 12th December, 2003. Anyway I am an addict since I am here! :-)

Been here since 13th April 2003, my wife has told me that I have become addicted to this site because I spend sooooo much time here! Ah well its her own fault for suggesting I get back into photography because I needed a hobby....

I renewed today! 12 months of life-altering bliss.
When I first became a member, I devoted my life to taking photos for each challenge. I never missed, and it was exciting being, well, challenged each week! Unfortunately, life has caught up with me, and I just don't have the time anymore to submit to each and every challenge; I usually stick to the member challenges now. I feel like I'm not participating honestly if I don't leave lots of comments, and the 300+ entries in the open challenges is often just too daunting. But I still manage to submit most every week; and I still have fun doing it.
I have learned so much while here--mostly by studying all of your wonderful photos. I have some mentors, too--some have won ribbons and some haven't, but it's fun seeing your stuff, and it's thrilling to know I have many friends here.

Best way to look at the real DPC oldies is to look at the profiles list. Below the site council members are listed by profile IDs, which are sequential. I'm the 669th DPCer (so nearly 666!), although I've only been submitting for about 15 months.. |
