Partially yes. But largely NO! While posts in this column evoke more response, it is not the only reason why I posted in the Rant.
I had presumed the meaning of "Rant" (from the kind of posts I see in this topic) as equivalent to Trash or junk. Only now I have found the synonyms as Rage, Fume... and so on.
