Does anyone know any great website building helps. I think my personal website kind of sucks and I don't have the first clue on how to get one started and have it looking great. I want one that has a cool and sleek look to it. Also with something with a flash menu or top bar thing. I am clueless to it all. Any easy tutorial websites would help. Or Books. Thanks!

I dont have any links for reading up on, but one suggestion I do have for your site is to make the pics smaller on the gallery page where the galleries are broken out into different subjects.

Its easier to navigate a site when most of the content is visible on the screen and you dont have to scroll all over the place (yes im lazy)

Also, the smaller pics will load faster and the page will be more friendly to dial-up users.

Hey thanks for those links. They will be helpful to look at.

Has anyone used any sort of website templates to help build their site?

You might want to take a look at JAlbum for building your HTML galleries - it is freeware, and does a great job of automating the creation of the HTML, thumbnails, resized images, etc. in a variety of different 'skins' that are fairly easily customizable.

I know there are other freeware HTML album generators out there, this is just the one I have gravitated to.
