Man, that's one dog of a camera!

ETA: the "K9, not the i9, which is actually a really cool, if expensive, concept.

makes you think though doesn't it . . after all Apple revolutionised the whole Walkman type market by making the brilliant logic leap of carrying around tiny hard drive with ear phones instead of individual tapes to play - so actually the idea of integrating the camera (effectively as a large memory card) into a P&S type body may not be as far fetched as it sounds. Then you can use the cameras lenses etc to get the quality and the phone as the electronic storage device.

Note that you can already use a wireless card to transfer photos from camera to phone (or other device) automatically on the fly ...

I've always joked about wanting a camera that was a phone, but if it is made by Apple I probably would not own it. I would wait for another company to make one.
