 You are missing nothing. |

This is going to be interesting for sure. I have viewed but not voting because I wanted to refamiliarize myself with the minimal editing rules and my understanding was straight from camera - only a broad (not adjustable) sharpen, rotation if necessary and a one time re-size, etc. |

They are DQable rules therefore why should someone get away with it while the rest of us stick to the rules we were given!!

I would vote as if the rules were followed - chances are they will be dq'd no matter what if they did any of the above. Wonder how many will pass the 'sniff' test when/if necessary |

LOL....NO don't lower votes ! Some people are VERY creative at "fooling" us ! I could have EASILY done a border as the shot was taken ! It is not very hard !

Vote as if it is legal !

If you have done editing that doesn't comply with the ruleset, then I don't think you can self dq. (I maybe wrong, but..). I believe that would result in a normal dq

Well since he admitted the mistake...it is a done deal now. It will be a DQ. Should have just rode it out ! Let's say he gets 50th place and doesn't get a DQ. IMO this kind of thing happens all the time !

The voting rules state that you should vote as if the photo is legal. However, you can click on the link if you suspect a rules violation. Do not adjust your vote. The SC will decide. Sometimes people suspect a rule has been violated and they are just plain wrong. |

The will be if it is top 3. If not, then they may not be DQ'd unless someone requests a check.

I tell ya...I was very surprised how mine came out. Just a little extra work pre-shot. The hardest thing for me was keeping things from creeping into the edge !
