I did get a tracking number once it shipped, it goes Fedex. Once it ships and FedEx receives it, you get an email from them too. I think it ships via the slowest method FedEx offers and it takes Amvona about a week to get things out the door. I've ordered some other things from them as well. I don't mind the wait though, the stuff I've gotten so far is great and I'm happy with the price I paid.

Backdrop stand and a muslin.

I've also ordered umbrellas, but they aren't here yet.

Cool!!! I got my tripod today Harrison - it's pretty nice. Definately a huge step up from what I was using. You should be happy with it. :-)

i got mine too! Its so nice, and heavy. The removable monopod is great. So are the QR plates, so much better than unscrewing every time you want to take your camera off. Its just so sturdy. The only thing I dont like, is the grease on the ball head. Lol, i touched it like 3 times, and got my hands all greasy. The head, is great. well worth the 68 dollars.

Looks interesting. Is there a mfr site where you can see detailed information. I was looking for it retail/mail order on the net rather than bidding, and I couldn't find any.

How heavy is it? The rest sounds great!

i think its specifcally made for Amvona.com It says amvona.com in like three places, and is eteched nicely in the leg of the tripod. I was also unsure of ordering something I never heard of, but it turned out to be great. Apparently tfaust thinks the same. BTW she outbid me on one of them. Some of them went for like 119 dollars or something, but I waited a few weeks, and just stuck to bidding in the 70s, and ended up getting it for 68. Just dont give up.

Yep, I do like the tripod and think it's a great value. I got mine for $71, just like hsteg said, I was patient and waited. I also got my hand greasy a few times, but that will go away soon. It is heavy and it is very stable. The removable monopod is great too!

You might be able to find the tripod on Amvona's site (www.amvona.com), but you'll probably pay more than if you just bid it on Ebay.
