Capture an image of a llama or llama's. However a photo of just a llama or llama's won't do, no the photo of the llama or llama's must include at least one of the objects, articles or animals featured in the llama song below or in the video of the song.

The llama song lyrics

here's a lama, there's a llama
and another little llama
fuzzy llama, funny lamma
llama, llama, duck

llama, llama, cheesecake llama
tablet, brick, potato
llama, llama, mushroom, llama
llama, llama, duck

I was once a treehouse
I lived in a cake
but i never saw the way
the orange slayed the rake
i was only three years dead
but it told a tale
and now listen little child
to the safety rail

did u ever see a llama
kiss a llama on the llama
llama's llama taste of llama
llama, llama, duck

half a llama, twice a llama
not a llama, farmer, llama
llama in a car, alarm a llama
llama, llama duck

is that how it's told now?
is it all so old?
is it made of lemon juice
doorknob, ankle, cold
now my song is getting thin
and i've run out of luck
time for me to retire now
and become a duck

Hey, you know I'm in for this. It's about a hour and a half to the Llama ranch though. Can I use a toy llama and my daughter's rubber duckie collection?

You could, but then you could also win the brown ribbon for it. ;P

Cute idea, but no llamas near me. Can I substitute alpacas? They're related to llamas.

I haven't been able to tell the difference yet, but for this I might educate myself so I can give 1's to the alpacas.

Great challenge idea!!! But, I have to admit I have both alpacas and llamas in the area. The park service uses llamas for packing supplies into the wilderness. Their two-toed feet with toenails and a soft footpad are less damaging to trails, as compared to shod horses. And, llamas are more tolerant of heat, lack of drinking water and high altitude.

There is a large alpaca farm about 1 mile away. Raised for their wool. They thrive in the mountains.

Both species spit, as do all Camelids. As a matter of fact, the challenge idea would be more inclusive if we included any member of the Camelidae family.

Llamas are big, shaggy and have a rep for spitting at you for pretty much any reason. Alpacas are much smaller and cuter - esp after they've been shorn they tend to look like Muppets - and I don't know of any nasty alpaca habits :-)

Do alpacas spit?

Yes, alpacas spit, but they are usually spitting at each other, trying to defend their food dish, or warning another alpaca to stay away. Although, I thought they were getting ready to "let go with a wet one" when I had my lens pointed in their direction.

But at least alpacas are so small, they'd definitely have to angle up at you to get you (unless of course you're down at their level.) I'm 5'10 and right at eye/face level with every llama I've ever met!
