Hooray!!! I may get my first 7 on this one! I was at a 6.8 yesterday and at a 6.9 this morning... I'll never figure this place out. I didnt spend near as much time on this challenge as I have on ones in the past... took like 5 shots to get one I liked and spend all of 5 minutes editing it... I had a shot last year that I spent like 4 days on and got a 5... I'm excited though!!! |

I realize my shot is not the best, and I am new to the whole DPC site and how it all works so I may not be the best at .. well anything at this point, but seriously, why would someone give a 1. I mean my average score is not a 7 I know, but a 1? I just think that is kinda rude.

Is violet considered a cool color, or a warm color?
it's red and blue combined, so it has characteristics of both. I tend to see it as a warm color, how about the rest of you? Am I being nitpicky?

Naw -- I assume it's just for information. That's the best way to learn on this site: ask questions and get answers. :)
I had the same problem with greens. Technically, many places put green on the cool side, but I always thought it tends more towards the yellow and I see it as a warm color. So I probably drive people wild because I'll accept green as either. :) |

Violet and green both sit on the fulcrum between cool and warm colors. Add a bit more blue to violet and its still violet but it cools off fast.
So is violet a cool or warm color? Yes it is. |
