Yet another question about this.
The rule says that it has to be from the same scene.
What if you did something like
this cool link
the camera never moves, stays on a tripod. Each member is shot individually and then all put in the same psd file, then masked out. Its a really cool technique that
Ive been wondering would be allowable in advanced editing.

A resounding NO!
In our legal composite images, the scene has to stay unchanged from frame to frame; you can vary the exposure, you can vary the focus, but that's it. A little incidental movement of waves, leaves, clouds etc is allowed, but nothing more. A very nice image was DQ'd a couple years ago, a night shot in HDR, because a swan wandered into ONE of the frames and the photographer kept it in.
