i don't *know* him, but he's been a member since 2004 jinjer, and his company and work credentials look legit. as i mentioned previously, he hadn't been active for a while and forgot his original user id...

It's against the site rules to open a second account.
Opening a new account and posting something that looks and smells like spam is going to get removed and the account deleted. If we don't act on those quickly, we'll all be eating SPAM for breakfast.
We permit some self promoting posts from members, as long as their participation is weighted towards real participation. |
Bringing up another question:
Neil, Is there an easy way for a returning 'user' or 'member' to reclaim her/his position at DPC? Is someone forever forbidden DPC if s/he cannot remember the critical words (user name; user password) first submitted?
I'm serious, btw. I don't remember ever seeing a way to rejoin DPC having forgotten the original information. But of course, personally, I never have.
:))
Not so seriously, as one who remembers the treats during the years of WWII, SPAM is good, SPAM is great. SPAM food, even if not in Hawaii, is yummy. |

We often get tickets from people asking/explaining that they had an account way back when but can't remember how to access it. We try to help them. :) |
