If you like to read reviews, especially those with detailed test results, you may want to become familiar with the new "DxO Analyzer" camera/lens test "suite".

Several print and web-based review sites are already beginning to use the new tool to test camera/lens systems in an objective way. This includes the highly-respected French magazine Chasseur d'Image, The Luminous Landscape and Imaging Resource, with more presumably to follow soon.

I'd start at LL, where there is a tutorial that explains the test suite using a Canon 1Ds and a Canon 135/2L lens (for a baseline comparison to other camera/lenses). After you're familiar with how to interpet the test results, you can review them for the Sony F-828, Konica Minola Dimage A2 and Olympus C-8080.
