This was a difficult challenge for me to vote on. Whilst many of the entries were very difficult to identify (and so fulfilled the challenge), there was also a great many that were just not very attractive images. I didn't find those to be visually appealing images in the least.
So what do I vote on: the degree of difficulty I had in guessing what it was, or if the macro puzzle actually had some appeal to me?
I've already voted based on the latter, but may revise after some further thought. |

 gcoulson, I agree entirely. Very difficult to vote on. I ended up mostly voting on aesthetics, and subtracting points only if I felt the shot wasn't macro. Very difficult to vote on indeed.

I agree. Voting on this challenge (or any challenge) should be pretty easy. Do you like it? Yes or no, then vote accordingly. With that said, I guess people don't like mine.

I usually try to see how well things fit the challenge when voting, but on this one, just because it's obvious to me, doesn't mean it's obvious to the rest of the world. So I just sit back, enjoy, and have fun guessing. :)

True enough. My vote for this challenge is acutally higher than my average vote. Taking out the puzzle made it higher.

If you see the words "obviously" or "clearly" in my identification of your photo it means I have absolutely no idea and have likely invented a word to describe it.

I'm staying pretty much around here. Was at .08 a few votes back though. You'll pick up again. I had a magnificent streak earlier with 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 one after another.
