You mean like in every challenge ...?

impressive sentiments for a 3.4 average vote cast...

How annoying... this challenge is a month and a half late. I just uploaded a perfect candidate for this to my profile in early January. Maybe that's where the idea came from? ;)

I'm going with a single shoe! If I get DNMC and voted down it can't be worse than my entry for the street challenge.

Mine will only have a single shoe too... I hope it doesn't bomb!

I'm waiting to see how a shoe is made to look lonely.....especially if there is more than one.

I've judged, like, 3 challenges so far. I happened to be very impressed by the photography for a small amount of them. That doesn't mean I'm overly picky about the entries meeting the criteria for the challenge theme itself. No need to get snarky.

Yeah. The sole shoe implies the other walked off on it to boot. Hopefully we'll all (those who don't ribbon) be dignified in de-feet, but what a great 'feet' it would be to win this one, huh?

Snarky is the native tongue of a significant percentage of DPC forum posters :-) May's well get used to it, jejejeâ„¢

Just my interp.
"Shoes=2"
The earliest known shoes are sandals dating from about 8000 to 7000 BC and found in Oregon, USA in 1938.[1] The world's oldest leather shoe, made from a single piece of cowhide laced with a leather cord along seams at the front and back, was found in a cave in Armenia in 2008 and is believed to date to 3,500 BC.
Yes to the sandals.... :)

DPC is tame compared to the bumholes on sites like modelmayhem.

Oh its ok anyway. We've settled things behind the scenes already, and I've actually been working very hard at taking more time to look at the photos in the two challenges I've recently voted on and thought about my scores and my voting and my perspective...I've changed a lot of scores actually! The comment helped. :)

I wouldn't think so.

YOU MAY NOT: "use ANY editing tool to create new image area, objects or features (such as vignettes, lens flare or motion) that didn’t already exist in your original capture"

i wouldn't do it.

Lots of shoes. Not many jobs. "Putting the cart before the horse" is the idiom which comes to mind.

By the way: looks like this is the most entries in an open challenge since Yellow in Aug last year (203 entries) and prior to that it was Zen (400 odd) because of the DPL. Lets hope it is a good challenge!
