I'm looking for a new photo organization app for my Mac. I've tried Aperture and Bridge, and too me, the interface just seems overly complex. It feels like things become more disorderly when I start the application. I hate them, and I don't use either. Any suggestions for a new one?

Thanks!

Another vote for Lightroom

For me Aperture and Lightroom are equal. You can't go wrong with either. In my experience, Aperture was way overwhelming at first and has a bit of a learning curve to it, once you get past that it's wonderful. Lightroom is actually a tad more user friendly from the get-go I think.

Can lightroom be integrated with photoshop? I'm certainly leaning towards photoshop's full-featured photo editor, but I do love lightrooms layout... Can then be integrated? Such as, double-clicking on a photo in lighroom opens in photoshop?

ETA: Also, what version would you suggest? I hear controversy between 3 and 2.

I have used this one for MANY years
Expression Media (iView Media Pro)
I love it! But Microsoft bought it about 2-3 years ago and it has been upgraded once (which I have not done. I still run version 1.02.)
Phase One apparently took it over, so I expect it to come back to life and improve on it more, even though it does everything and more than I really need it to.

I have Lightroom 3.3. In the menu Photo/Edit In I have Photoshop listed. Once I finished in Photoshop I am back in Lightroom automatically. They are integrated. Most plugins from NIK and Topaz work in the exactly same way. I don't use Photoshop much, Lightroom has a lot of features for photo editing. Even spot editing, but no layers.
