i'm about to burst.
i have a d70 on hold, on the shelf at a camera store for pickup right after work.
i have to practice up all weekend, as i am shooting (with a MEDIA PASS!) the Nasdaq 100 tennis tournament next week in Miami.
i can't wait!!! |

Probably a stupid question, but do (some) Nikon lenses employ image stabilization? I've been checking out lenses online and the nomenclature isn't familiar to me. Canon has it pretty straight-forward (IS = image stabilizer). Does Nikon have this? I've seen AF-S, but I'm assuming that means auto focus.

Yes, Nikon's version is called "VR" (Vibration Reduction). Also, the "AF-S" Stands for "Silent Wave" autofcus--the equivalant of Canon's USM lenses. |
