I have tried searching for this on Google, but I can not explain it well enough for Google to understand LOL

Here is the problem.

The pen does not is not changing size when say I go into brushes, it is always coming out as though I am really using a pen and disregarding my size 900 soft brush size and doing a 10 brush hard size.

Of course there is no instruction manual, just a silly little piece of paper that comes with it.

Anyone else got this product and using it correctly???

I didn't have this problem before with the other bamboo, but I am with the new one.

Here's your user manual, for starters:

I have not read it. If this doesn't help, let us know OK?

On Page 37, in "General Problems", see the 3rd and 4th entries. Seems to be your issue.

Not 100 percent clear on your issue, but I do have the Bamboo Pen and Touch as well.

So are you saying that when you have a document open and try to use the pen the size of the mark on the document never changes even with varying pressure?

If you are using Photoshop and view the brush palette you will see a number of variables that you can set and adjust for your pen and tablet. You MUST have shape dynamics checked for Photoshop to see a difference in pressure etc. Your selected brush size will determine how large the brush circle diameter appears when you hover over the document. The minimum diameter setting will adjust the minimum size of brush coverage you will regardless of pressure. So for example if you have your minimum diameter set to 0 percent you will be able to make a small dot with light pressure and the brush stroke continues to get larger with more applied pressure until it reaches the maximum brush size based on your selected brush and size.

I recommend toggling off the actual Touch function of the Bamboo pad while editing with the pen in photo apps just to be sure that's not an issue.

Sorry if I'm not fully comprehending your problem at this point. At least we can alleviate any of those settings.

This gizmo is completely new to me. How do you use it in PS?

Pressure-sensitive pen tablets have been around for quite a while. Graphic artists, especially, use them. You have a pen-like implement, called a "stylus", and a pressure-sensitive pad on the table top where a mousepad would be. You use the stylus to stroke just as you would with a pen. There are various ways to set them up, but typically increased pressure makes the line (or coverage area) wider/larger, and the stylus usually has buttons you can "click" like left and right buttons on a mouse.

I actually have a Wacom tablet on my base PC, but I've never installed it on this laptop I use now. It's really good for fussy editing, but we all know I don't do that stuff anymore, right?
