I imagine this has been covered somewhere before... but humor me :)

For the first time, I'm going to do a bridal show at the end of the month. I want to get an HDTV to display a slideshow of photos as part of my booth.

At home I can plug an SD card into my BluRay player, and run a slideshow through it on our main TV very nicely. I have to imagine there's an easier way out there, though. I'm looking for a recommendation on a TV that can do this internally (without needing to drag a BluRay player or other device along if possible).

I'm not looking for a particularly large TV... a 32" will do just fine I'm sure. Thoughts?

Look for TVs with DLNA. Those will typically have a USB slot which you can use to upload photos with a flash drive and display them. I know Samsung has this ability (because I have one), but I'm sure many TVs do that today.

This site seems to allow you to search for DLNA products. You can get a rough list together and research from there.

Thanks... that'll give me a starting point. You'd think this would be a pretty simple thing nowadays!

I guess you save that great eye of yours just for photography? Here's the direct link.

In case anyone else was at all curious... I found a Panasonic TC-32LX24 at Costco for $350. It's only 720p, but pictures look very, very good on it. And it has an SD card slot, so I can just plug a card in and it'll do a slideshow. So far it seems to be just what I had hoped for!
