Has anyone here joined TakeAPic (www.takeapic.com), which is a site where you can sell your photos for stock photography? I am a bit suspicious of there registration process for photographers; you pay $1 from your paypal account to confirm you have one.
Comments on whether its on the up and up, caveats, etc?

I don't know anything about the site, but I just copied this from their "news" section:
"17/12/2003 - Paypal transaction fee amount changed
We noticed that a lot of photographers could not login using the paypal subscription. This was because a lot of Creditcard agencies do not allow transfers lower than $1. That is why we had to change the $0.01 to $1" |

Interesting, but they need a good text editor. Quite a few typos and incorrect grammatical phrases. Always makes me a little suspicious - but they may be okay.
