I found an old negative viewer in the garage the other day and stuck a flash under it. I'm pleased with the eye candy it produced, but it's small and the light was uneven, so I had to do a fair amount of selective editing to get the background an even white.

I'm wanting to make a larger one. My idea is to build it on top of a plastic box, perhaps 2 feet square (or thereabouts). Line the box with something reflective (I was thinking a mylar emergency blanket from the camping dept), leaving a couple of access holes to poke a strobe through. Put t piece of white Plexiglas (Perspex to those on the other side of the pond). I'm figuring this setup should diffuse the light from the strobes reasonably well.

I was wondering if anyone had else has done this and may have some tips for me. Thanks
