Don't feel bad about no comments Scott - I have 3 comments and they all tell me how THEY would have done the image. Not DNMC, and not technical issues or composition....... just how THEY would have chosen the subject and/or the surroundings. But if I had done any of those things it wouldn't relay the subtle message that I wanted. Maybe I was too subtle and needed a better title to explain it all. :-D |

Thanks, CJ. I'm on a quest to comment on all the entries in this one so I'll be paying a visit. Considering I'm slow I hope you won't mind explaining ; ).
In more important news, all the best this holiday season. I miss my DPL teammates. |

Same to you Scott!
DPL was my one and only experience with being on a team here and it was fun, even though as a group we didn't do too well. :-D If they ever have another DPL, maybe we can team up again! |

not quite finished voting but overall my total tally for voting is going to be way higher than my average challenge vote. There are many very well put together images in this gallery imo, both for the topic and in general - this makes me even more curious about all the low scores.

Yup. When I was on vacation and editing on a netbook, I found the best approach was to not push the processing very far and also to ask someone else to have a look at it for me.
