Yeah, that's what we need, to become more like Facebook and YouTube. We can back off on the photo stiff and get some real interesting things going to improve the site.

We could have online games. Like photographerville, Troll Wars, Family Photographer Feud.

Now that could build site traffic, and make the site interesting. Could be more fun than spending 5 seconds a pop voting on images. ;-)

I don't know...

Except for trying to get a ribbon, the whole "popularity" thing makes me a bit queasy. I think the fact that people participate in a forum is indication that they like it. Or if they dislike it, they write a post about it. Adding a quick like/dislike, or even just a like button is a bit of a cop-out and I think it will lead to less typing and more drive-by clicking. Just my 2 cents...
