A train traveling at 65MPH leaves Chicago. It arrives in NY at 8:49am and everyone gets off except for Art. So Art wins.

I am launching an official inquiry as to how she fractured her leg. You don't work for the NY Jets do you?
12/16/2010 05:14:56 AM · #4487
That's crazy. Did he really not think it would get caught on video? Hope he gets fired...

Oh - I win... again
12/16/2010 05:21:02 AM · #4488
I don't think he thought about it at all. Just a knee-jerk reaction. LOL

You lose. ...again.

Morning...would anyone like some coffee?
12/16/2010 10:15:52 AM · #4490

-Paul Erdos

Sure, I'll take some.

Dear diary,

Day 244. Still here stuck in this thread. Its like being on a deserted island but without water around me and its not so deserted. I've started talking to this volleyball named Spalding. Reminds me of balding. That dude has no hair to speak of.

Talk to you later.

P.S. Putting your urine through a filter does not make it taste like Mr. Coffee no matter what Kevin Costner claims in Waterworld.

I built a raft that will carry 5 people back to civilization. I put names in a hat and it looks like Citadel, Spalding, Mrs. Coffee, TrollMan and Math Guy are the lucky winners. Good luck, God speed and I'll not expect to see any of you back here. Just arrange to have an air drop of some of that delicious Darma Beer and I'll be set.

Thanks Art...I'll be thinking of you....sail away, sail away...sail away

As promised, here is a diagram showing that a subdivision of K(3,3) (left) is a subgraph of the Petersen graph (right). To K(3,3), I've inserted three vertices, 7, 8 and 9, to three edges as shown. And I've labeled the corresponding vertices of the Petersen graph, and dropped the unneeded edges, to show that there exists a subgraph isomorphic to this particular subdivision of K(3,3).

This result, then, uses Kuratowski's theorem to prove that the Petersen graph is not planar, and as such, brings closure to the problem originally stated.

Any questions?

Yup - closure is good.

No way I'm leaving the island btw.
