Far from my most edited one... but one of my favorite. I'm especially fond of the title I chose for it.

Layered three photographs for this one. The gates were retraced in an object oriented program because of the intially low resolution.

Wow, all amazing! I especially admire the skill of Pedro, and Seanachai for creating something obviously so much more than the original photograph.

P.S. Do you have to pay money to the site in order to post images outside of challenges?

If you want to use the DPC Portfolio feature you must be a paid member. This gives you 10mb of space to store photos where they can be easily linked-to and commented-on by DPCers. You can also then upload a high-resolution version and have it printed through DPC Prints "at cost" and /or put them up for sale to the public.

If you have photos posted at another site which allows linking (such as pBase.com) you can link to your photos there from the forums; use the insert URL button (second from the right) in the message composition box.

This is probably my most edited photo, and probably my most hideous.

I think I did a pretty good job on this one... would have like to refocused the top part a bit more, but ran out of time

I'd say, just focusing on elements that come in as photographs and leave as photographs, as opposed to montages, special graphics, illustrations, collages etc... then...

This is a good example of heavy editing on a photograph, using Levels, Color Balance, Channels, Curves and Spot Editing / Cloning. and in one 50x20 pixel space I used another layer to reduce the blowout in the clouds around the sun.

All your pictures are brilliant! I particularly like kosmikkreeper's and labuda's work because the way you have got so excellent a picture from so little is astonishing. I'm still at the stage where I'm mainly just removing noise, adjusting colours etc.

This is about the most I've ever edited a "serious" photo that I would consider suitable for a small print. It's embarrassing to display such a pathetically small amount of editing when I compare it to what others here can do!
