Have you people noticed this funny guy. I call him the point(.) five (.5) guy.

His comments are all 4.5 5.5 6.5 x.5 portraying an image of a very precise voters who knows exactly what he is doing giving (.5) accuracy evaluations

There is a thread on this already... I would love to look it up but I am already an hour late for work. Hopefully someone else can find it in the interim

I don't think he is trying to predict consensus from all the voters but rather what his own opinion is. |

I thought the OP was saying that he was accurately estimating the result:

I wonder if he realises he can click the '1' to '10' buttons?

Perhaps he thinks you have to type your score into the comments box. |

I don't check the helpful button because comments are helpful, I check it to keep track of and acknowledge my comments. ;p |

ok -- now his average vote cast is 5.1xxx -- now someone should go through and figure out the average of the numbers in the comments and see if they average out higher or lower. :P

I find it hilarious that folks spend more than 30 seconds of their time considering this, especially since he posted that he's doing it for a project, to see how close he comes to the actual score.

I read the thread of messages and thought that your comments were nicer than some of the private messages I received from some people. As kirbic stated I did this for a graduate school project because my professor is a member who posts on this site. And FYI, I did round up my scores.
