was disappointed at 4.7, now with more opinions, I've moved down to a 4.37
I'm baffled as to why so low a score. As a photographer, my work seems to miss the audience much too often.
Other than my only DNMC entry, this is by far the lowest score I've received, for what I thought, one of my better images that
very much meets the challenge description (so I thought). Bummer. |

For the first time in a long time, I was pretty disappointed voting in this challenge. There were some nice photos, but nothing stuck out at me as great (admittedly, mine isn't great either). I did notice a lot of out of focus or simply bland shots in this challenge (my opinion, of course).
I'm betting this will be a low overall scoring challenge. |

Your not wrong with that, I was'nt going to enter, but did with 8 mins to go, its an ok picture, and is sitting on low 5's at the moment.
But overall the quality not too good.

My free study and this challenge's score have been so close. They keep swapping places, this morning free study was ahead with a 6.0 then dropped to a 5.8 now this one is at a 6 and my free study is down to a 5.8. Wish they would both get to a 6 and stay there. I have a feeling it will be flirting between a high 5 and a 6 all week.

Its true that one good comment can really sooth a horrible score.
Looks to me most did not read there were Three ways to satisfy this challenge.
90% are faces made from household items. The rules were for faces in, on or made from household items.
I have a feeling with the submissions mostly "made from"s, most people are voting the same way.
Even inside the box I can find an unpopular corner... |

I might be getting my 5th ribbon or another HM... but I've been wrong almost all the time guessing these things.

if the face was a reflection in some household item, i voted accordingly as DNMC. |
