If you were given the chance to re-edit one of your old photos, what would you do with it to make it better?

I tried one of mine

Old: New:

Let's see what you will do.

can we do whatever we want or do we need to follow basic or advanced rules?

Sounds pretty open-ended to me... Do whatever floats your boat, I'd say.

That's one hell of a good example! A very substantial improvement in impact!

Do you think it would have done any better in that challenge, Warm colours?

I have 'redone' several in the past.

Yellow challenge/ Advanced Editing

Re-edit with more pop/vibrancy in colors to counter the dull tones in the original

Free Study Dec. 2009 /Advanced Editing

Re-edit. Original was oversharpened. Toned down the color tones slightly. Can't do much of anything with the tangle of trees...(at least not yet:-) )
