No, no... The internet ITSELF, or more properly my pooter's interfacing with it, NOT the individuals behaving strangely, who will always be with us...

To wit: all this evening, I can get DPC just fine and dandy (this post is posting, for example, but absolutely nothing else will load. I get "Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.(whatever)"... This is for everything, bookmarks and everything I just type in. And the same goes for Firefox. I have turned the firewall off, that didn't change anything. I use AVG 9.0.872, the paid version, FWIW.

I find this distinctly bizarre. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm experiencing it too.

I'm wondering if something is up with the name servers.

Did you check with your ISP?

I have no answer but I had the same problem within the past hour. All my sites were loading very slowly.

The reason I think so, is because I'm running another application which is using IP addresses ONLY and the connections are perfect.

Cyber-attack. But, you're not on the East coast of the U.S., are you?

Anyway, I suspect the US may be vulnerable to a general cyber-attack on cyber-Monday.
