I'm not sure if you're being tongue-in-cheek or not... but if you aren't... see definition 1 |

I forgot to take the literalist view into account when I wrote that description in my challenge suggestion. I guess everything but army ants is now a big fat DNMC.

I pulled my parachute pants entry in the last minute. Suddenly remembered it was from middle school and outside the window for acceptable entries. |

Nature as in a statement like: "My nature is to be suspicious of everybody".
Here's another example, in the form of a fable:
A scorpion, being a very poor swimmer, once asked a turtle to carry him on his back across a riverâ€Â¦And that’s just the beginning of the taleâ€Â¦
“Are you mad?†exclaimed the turtle. “You’ll sting me while I’m swimming and I’ll drown!â€
“My dear turtle,†laughed the scorpion, “If I were to sting you, you would drown and I would go down with you. Now, where is the logic in that?â€
“You’re right,†cried the turtle. “Hop on!â€
The scorpion climbed aboard, and halfway across the river gave the turtle a mighty sting. As they both sank to the bottom, the shocked turtle said, “Do you mind if I ask you something? You said there’d be no logic in your stinging me. Why did you do it?â€
“It has nothing to do with logic,†the drowning scorpion sadly replied. “It’s just my nature!â€

Ouch, I now know which entry is yours. I thought it was a gag entry. Sorry.
