My brother in law has just returned from Afghanistan. I would like to thank everyone who keeps me and my family and my country safe. |

My grandfather was in the Royal Artillery during the WW1 and saw action in France, Palestine and Gallipoli.
I only have one photo of him from that period >
I spent 10 years in the armed forces, including 2 years active service in Northern Ireland from 1976>1978

Yes, she's actually a veteran. Served in the US Navy in the Persian Gulf as a medic. |

Yes, apparently depriving enemy forces of hydration through drooling is a tactical plus. :)
Nah, seriously, she was more into healing than wounding. She was a field medic. |
