Crap...almost missed this. Now I gotta dig out the gear!

Well, if you have access I guess it's a good idea, and there will surely be some great images. But for those of us that live in the middle of nowhere and have no transport but train, and can only get to the gates, after hiking, no. I am not pulling out a camera while sneaking around the fence of an international military installation. Instead, what you will see is a camouflage-painted ass in the reflections challenge. Maybe winking.

Thank you, I'm very pleased with the results of that effort. The timing really worked out well. I'm glad Langdon was receptive. I even got an email from local friend who has been lurking on DPC, telling me she decided to dip her toes in the water and enter this challenge.

Does it mean shoot (heh) a jet over a forest (in nature)?
Does it mean photograph an army-ant (natural military play on words)?
Or does it mean anything military? If so why put it in?

And here I thought this was finally a clear-cut challenge topic that there could be no question over what it meant. *sigh* I guess I'll expect to see some army ants and models in sailor themed bikinis.

Happy Birthday Marines!

Maybe I will dust the camera off for this challenge!

No. It is. I'm just tired and put some punctuation in there that wasn't necessary, I think. I doubt I'll be entering this though so it'll be fine :)

Yep two years on from that comment, and still weak in the knees!

Its Remembrance Day in Canada tomorrow. I thought about shooting the ceremonies for the challenge but...it kinda feels out of place. I've taken pictures at the ceremonies before but simply for myself. I did enter a picture the last time I shot but that was because I had the shot not because I did the shoot with the competition in mind.

Seems wrong to me for some reason. Almost like taking pictures at a funeral.

We may need someone to locate a good lawyer for Trollman. Who else lives in Norway?

Darn, if I had known that earlier I might have taken the day off work to go to the Veteran's Day Parade.
