Hi,
Whenever I try to do take macro shots using Canon 300D - Tamron 70-300 at approx 150 mm, I never get the entire object in focus, only a certain portion of the object remains in focus.
What do I need to do to get the entire subject in focus

Have you tried a high F-stop setting? The higher the F-stop (the smaller the aperature) the larger your depth-of-field and the more in focus your subject will be front to back.

I too have that lens, but haven't seen any problems with it.
Then again I haven't really looked for that either. All I can
say is keep in mind that when you go to macro your DOF is extremely
shallow! Try taking a pic of something completely flat and see if you
get the same problem. |

| If you do that be sure to increase the light level or use a flash to compensate. |
