Whilst it doesnt affect me, i think you are being rather anal about this, whats not to say that over the past 50 years birdfeeders havent become part of a birds natural habitat. lighten up poppet. |
Didn't say I voted them down, in fact I didn't vote on them at all! Sorry just disapointed! I was hoping to see some real wildlife from around the world! Badgers,Foxes. Bears, Moose , Mountain Lions, etc.

You're preaching to the choir there. I live in a really small, boring town, and I was hoping for some Ibiza raves, Goa full moon parties, banging London/NYC club action... nothing. No wild life at all. Gutted. |

Trouble is that to photograph badgers and foxes, you need a great deal of preparation, and unless you already have a hide set up thta you have been frequenting you just aren't going to get the photo in one week! Also, I am pretty sure that you need a licence to photo badgers in the UK. |

I'm way too new at this to be disappointed - I am having a blast and learning a ton! I googled "complementary colors" today and looked at the 4 previous "complementary colors" challenges so I will be able to submit an appropriate picture. I learned a key thing in this wildlife challenge that will help me score better in future challenges. I can't say yet what that was without revealing my entry . . . But it's a mistake I will not repeat. It's all fun and it's all good!

It is all good fun -- and the only person that you should be trying to beat is yourself. When I first started, I loved keeping track of my average, and try to beat that whenever I could. It's actually still the same 1 3/4 years later -- a successful challenge is one where I beat my current average. It's incredibly special when you get a personal best (though mine happened very early on, and I haven't come close since.)
I'm so glad you're enjoying it -- it is a blast!

airplane is definitely one of the most hilarious movies of all time.
