when I was growing up we couldn't say..H*ll....so we always said Sam Hill....or Horsefeathers...but I'm sure it still has the same meaning as the tone is right...snort...rolling eyes... |

When was "hell" an inadequate or improper expression? I haven't notice of that. Then at that time "Divine Comedy" would be a pornographic book and Dante "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." ??? This thread is very very useful. It expand my knowledge!

There is a place in Norway called "Hell" (no kidding) It's also a VERY cold place.
What's even funnier is that the railroad cargo office is in Norwegian called "Gods Expedition" (Gods = cargo)

where is sam hill ?
i been looking since april for it... trying to figure out what all theeeeese people are talking about...
this farm gets less funny by the day... no one has said "ha ha, he hoe" in months...
all the pictures on the walls have been taken down because we ran out of windex...
the plants all got burned in a pit because my room mate is allergic to the color green. ( his meds stopped working (.
wait a second, i have to shut this thing down. i don't trust the keyboard anymore. it seems to know what i am thinking...
