WOuld love to hear from anyone thats been shooting any video with the Canon 7D. I've had mine for about 5 months now and It does a great job.

I have done no video with my 7D. I am not really into video and could care less if the camera had video on it or not.

I wasn't into video either but now video can have similar quality to photography... Opens a whole new world of possibilities.

| Only silly clips of the family and whatnot...YouTubeable stuff. I really like the possibilities of video with this gear, but I'm just not there yet. I find it difficult to not have the viewfinder, and to rely on the Live view. I have seen some wedding photogs adding video to their packages, but their post-processing and grading is waaaaay beyond my capabilities at this point. |

Nice stuff! Maybe a bit heavy on the post-processing effects, though. |

I have been playing with mine at times on assignments and while the quality of video is good, the file sizes to upload and process are way to big, so I recently picked up a Flip I carry in my camera bag to work with.
My youtube there are some video's on here with the 7D, 1DMKIV and the flip. |
