The camera is constantly trying to search for a focal point, even when i have it set on one spot. It just roams around for ever. Anyone else had this happen>?
There is a 96874059873063-963-4693-0459634-873- pages of Google with this exact same problem and a lot of them are saying to do a hard reset.
take out the battery, the watch battery and let it sit for ran hour or so.
Anyone tried this?? |

Sorry, I thought i replied to this, yes I did try it out with two different lens, the Tamron and the 50 canon lens. It seems to be doing better now, I am going to have the kids run around like fools later and try to shoot them, we shall see how it works with that |

I tried shooting kids once but the little buggers run too fast!!
I found if you throw sweets on the floor they little sods slow down briefly! Then you can get 'em!! |

Perhaps a simple reset back to factory settings should do the trick. You should find that option in the menu. Then remove and put the main battery in. The watch battery keeps the date/time and other settings, so that kind of reset could probably mimic that. An acquaintance's 7D had trouble locking focus, none of the focus points would light up and that did the trick. Good luck!
