When a picture of a snake wins in a bird challenge -- that's annoying.

But is it OK if the snake's in the act of EATING a bird? Just need to know... If there's ever a snake challenge, I may enter a mongoose...

It's never ok for a snake to eat a bird -- however, if the bird were eating a snake... :P

I have to admit, I'd give this shot a 10 in a snake or bird challenge.

Considering that the bird noticed and flew away 1 millisecond before the strike, I'd give it a 10 as well. :)

Fortunately, in this country, I think far more snakes prefer rats and mice to birds. Snakes are an important part of the ecosystem, and are essentially harmless to you unless you step on one.
