I was doing some research in order to buy a nice lens for my Nikon D5000, after reviewing some forums on the Nikkor 18-200 VR someone wrote that this lens is very practical, however practical does no mean high quality results. Instead he recommends to by a separate lens for different applictions (macro, portrait, landscapes). Please I need inputs or suggestions on the best lens for these three needs.
