Just wondering what other people have on their "bucket list" of things to photograph??
I'm still fairly new to photography but have a desire to capture:
1. Star Trails
2. Lightning
3. Long exposures of water (like waterfalls / under a bridge etc)
4. Northern Lights (need to book a holiday!)
5. A lone tree in a good landscape (Possibly Namibia in South West Africa)
6. Winding road with trees AND fog / mist
7. Rolling hills in B&W that seem to go on forever
8. A good freeze frame / stopped motion shot
9. A good IR (infrared) shot
What do you guys / girls want to do before your time on this earth comes to an end?
Should be some good lists given the diverse talent on this site! |

I am absolutely fascinated by wildlife action shots: a fishing bear, a lion holding his prey, etc.
I think I am going to organize all my next vacations in order to visit places where such images are doable, depending on what money permits. |

Seeing as you are on favourite photographers list :-) You are welcome to come and spend some time with us in South Africa. We have plenty of opportunities for wildlife shots (not too many bears though). We also have snails skateboarding all the time! |

My dream has always been to go to Alaska and get the typical, yet terribly exciting to me, shots of eagles & bears catching fish. I don't care if it's "alaska cliche", it would be awesome to see and incredible to photograph.
I also would like to do some astrophotography -- strapping the camera to a tracking scope and seeing what happens.

Then I will go with you because I would love to go to Denali National Park. It will be cold, but fun :)

Anything, everything, anywhere (exception of journalism)... that's why I keep my camera with me all the time. As long as my shots are "Art Worthy" I am happy with them.
So, I think I don't have a bucket list :P

I want to shoot Alaska and Greece.
I really want to shoot Great Whites breaching on a sled being pulled from a boat. Yes I saw this on Discovery Channel during Shark Week, but that guy only shot one shark, I want to shoot many. Yes I know I'm slightly carzy. |

Would have to agree with you on Ireland and also Scotland. But, that'll have to wait as I'm planning on returning to the Dominican early next year. The old world is very alluring, but I'm in love with the Caribbean.

I've tossed these lists a good while ago, and this is the only item left:
"to expand my perception of place, object(s) and people".

I want to leave behind me a family photo album that is fun to look at. Not one where everyone is posed and smiling, where shots are blurry or so distant you have no idea who they are.
I want to catch people with cigarettes or glasses of wine in their hands. Cutting a nice juicy piece of roast beef while talking. Singing together. Going down the stairs.
Really, wht life is, clearly.
